After bouncing around the country a bit, my wife Wendy and I are on Long Island where I work in information management. We have two great kids, Kimberly (in Washington, DC) and Andrew (NYC) and two old noisy dogs. Andrew surprised me with some tickets to the US Open which was held just a few miles away. We got soaked on Thursday but got to go back for free on Monday and parked at the 18th hole. As you can see from the picture, we hoped to take the trophy but alas it was not to be. It was fun reading everyone's updates and I hope to make to the reunion this year.
Update 2018:
About a year ago, we decided it was time to move on from Long Island, so we have retired and relocated to Lewes, Delaware. It's a great beach community on the southern Delaware shore and we're really enjoying it. With our son in Hoboken and our daughter (plus grandson!) in DC, we get to see everyone fairly often. If you ever plan a trip to this area, let us know because we are happy to host guests!
