It's hard to believe I was able to retire last summer after teaching 35 years in our area. The last 29 of those years were teaching 5th grade in the Anthony Wayne Local Schools. It was great being able to teach where my two children attend school. Now retirement is GREAT and I'm really enjoying it with my husband of 8 years, Greg. He has two children as well and we have 2 grandchildren with another on the way. Only our girls live in the area. Now that I'm retired, we are able to spend more time at our 2nd home in The Villages, FL. No more cold and snowy Ohio winters! Now I'm trying to learn to play golf! While I didn't live in Maumee when I was in school, I live there now. It's great fun living "on the water" and enjoying our home in an "active adult" community! "Great Job" to all who have helped make this reunion and website happen!
