Hopefully by now you have received your “Save the Date” card, and are planning to attend our “FORTY SOMETHING” class reunion. The reunion committee has been busy planning an exciting weekend event.

Many changes have taken place at MHS in the last 40+ years. The reunion festivities begin on Friday Aug 7, 2009. From 7-9pm. a reception has been planned at the Performing Arts Center at the high school (use the parking lot off Craig Road). This is the perfect opportunity to get re-acquainted with old classmates and teachers as well as touring our alma mater. There is no cost for this event, but we would like to know how many people plan to attend.

Later that Friday evening a no-reservations required drop in at Dale’s Bar begins at 9:30pm.

Saturday a golf outing has been organized.   We will need a head count on who plans to golf. Updated information on the outing will be posted on the web site once we have a count of how many will be golfing.

Saturday evening a dinner has been planned at the Maumee Indoor Theater, 601 Conant Street, (419) 897-8902. Do you remember all the Friday nights we spent at this theater? This evening will feature buffet dinner, music, and solft drinks (BYOB). The reunion begins at 7pm, with dinner served promptly at 7:45pm, and the suggested dress is casual.

If there is a favorable response, we will arrange for a breakfast get together on Sunday Aug 9. Check the web site for further information concerning this event.

Sunday evening the Toledo Mud Hens are in town at 5/3 Field.   The Mud Hens play the Gwinnett Braves at 6:30 pm. Cost of this event is $12.00.

If you haven’t done so yet, please visit our web site at www.maumeeclassof68.com. All reunion information and updates will be posted there.    We hope all classmates will register even if you can’t attend the reunion weekend. You can make your reunion weekend reservations and pay on line.   There is an additional $2.75 bank processing fee if you choose to pay online.

If the internet isn’t your thing, included with this letter is a reservation form.   We would appreciate your response as soon as possible with a deadline of July 15, 2009.

We realize that many of us are procrastinators, so please place this letter someplace safe, and attend to it as sooon as possible.

We hope you all can attend this reunion, and anticipate a truly enjoyable weekend.
